The Wexner Score (Cleveland Clinic Florida Incontinence Score) is the most widely used tool for assessing the severity of fecal incontinence. The questionnaire was published by Jorge and Wexner in 1993 and is considered the international standard. Particularly useful for patients who have had low anterior resection for rectal cancer.
